JOHN ADAMS BIRTH PLACE HOME QUINCY
Famous Founder's House near Boston Massachusetts

John Adams Birthhouse BraintreeThe Adams National Historical Park is the site of the homes of two American presidents and subsequent generations of their descendants from 1920 to 1927.  Here can be found the story of four generations of the Founding Fathers Adams family. The park has two main sites, the Birthplaces of the 2nd U.S. President and Continental Congress Declaration of Independence signer John Adams and his son, 6th U.S. President, John Quincy Adams – and Peacefield, which includes the “Old House” home of four generations of the Adams family, and the Stone Library which contains more than 12,000 historic volumes of books. The experience represented by this family shaped and reflected significant events in the social, cultural, political, and intellectual history of the nation.  The park’s intent to preserve and protect the grounds, homes, and personal property of generations of the Adams family and interpret the history they represent.
